Burke Rehabilitation’s newest outpatient facility is set to open. Located on the Wartburg campus in Mount Vernon campus, the state-of-the-art, 3,500-square-foot center marks a significant milestone in expanding access to high-quality rehabilitative care for Wartburg residents and the wider community. Equipped with a modern therapy gym, private exam rooms, and specialized treatment bays, the new facility will offer personalized orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation services and is expected to serve up to 15,000 patient visits annually. This will be the 15th location for Burke’s rehabilitation services.
“Wartburg has always believed in the power of partnerships to strengthen the quality of life for those we serve,” said Dr. David Gentner, President and CEO of Wartburg. “We are grateful to Burke Rehabilitation for bringing their nationally recognized, patient-centered care to our campus. This collaboration ensures that our residents and neighbors have direct access to cutting-edge therapy services right here in Mount Vernon.”
For Wartburg, this partnership further enhances its commitment to holistic, community-centered care. As Dr. Gentner added, “Together with Burke, we are meeting people where they are in their recovery journey and ensuring that they have the resources, expertise, and encouragement they need to thrive.”
“Across our outpatient sites, Burke is known for the highly personalized level of one-on-one care we provide to every patient we serve,” said Burke Rehabilitation Vice President Outpatient Services, Steven Tisser, PT, MBA. “We are proud to bring this gold standard of care to Mount Vernon, further extending our reach and access to high-quality rehabilitative care to more patients across the region.”
The new outpatient therapy site at 1 Wartburg Place will officially open to the public in mid-October, serving patients Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. You can find more information at burke.org/mountvernon.
