Join Seth Rudetsky and 3 Time Tony Award® nominee Jennifer Simard (Death Becomes Her, Company, Disaster!) for a one-night-only special-event concert, at the White Plains Performing Arts Center on March 14, that will be filled with intimate, funny, behind-the-scenes stories mixed with incredible performances of the songs Simard has performed on Broadway and beyond. Visit wppac.com for the Arts Center full roster of events.

The Scarsdale Adult School has a number of activities and classes that will sharpen your mind and offer laughter and lively conversation. This March 11 kicks off their six sessions of Let’s Play Mah Jongg for Beginners. You’ll also find Canasta: Supervised Play, Tips and Strategy starting on March 16. On March 20, at the New York Botanical Garden, discover the art of hand-dipped and hand-poured candles using eco-friendly, non-toxic ingredients, essential oils, and herbs. You’ll learn the history of this ancient craft, and how to make synergistic scents that add a vibrance to the darker days of winter. Participants will make two different candles during class for at-home use. Discover more programs and lifelong learning at nybg.org.

An international magician, comedian, world-record holder (photo above) — and total momma’s boy. Mark Clearview will be performing at The Emelin Theatre on March 21.  This skilled magician’s most daring feat may have been Escaping Parkinson’s, a world-record stunt that saw him live in a straitjacket for 14 days to raise funds for the Michael J. Fox Foundation. For more information and other shows, go to Emelin.org.

The Taconic Opera will be presenting Moses on March 21 and 22. In his ninth oratorio based on prominent Biblical figures, Dan Montez has tackled the larger than life character of the man who freed Israel from Egypt, who parted the Red Sea, and brought the world the Ten Commandments. Experience the magic…purchase tickets at TaconicOpera.org.

Girls Gone Bible is going out on the Revival Tour and will be at The Tarrytown Music Hall on March 27. This is an invitation to experience the miracle-working power of God through real stories, faith-filled conversations, and shared worship. Come exactly as you are, with your questions, doubts, and hope. You won’t leave the same because revival is about encountering God and allowing Him to do what only He can do. (The Girls Gone Bible podcast is ranked #1 for religion and spirituality on Spotify.)  For tickets, go to TarrytownMusicHall.org.

Meet the Junction Trio on April 12 at Caramoor. These three extraordinary soloists redefine chamber music with fearless creativity and electrifying synergy. Since coming together in 2015, violinist Stefan Jackiw, cellist Jay Campbell, and pianist Conrad Tao have dazzled audiences with performances that blend technical brilliance, emotional depth, and an adventurous spirit. (Due to many sold-out performances and programs at Caramoor, we are listing this in March events so you can get your tickets early.) Visit Caramoor.org.
