parmesan crisps
What do you do when you come home from Costco with three pounds of grated parmesan cheese?
You make parmesan crisps, of course!
I’d make a list of ingredients but all you need is the grated parmesan and some parchment paper.
Heat your oven to 400 F.
Lay a sheet of parchment paper on a cookie tray.
Scoop a heaping tablespoon of parmesan onto the tray. Flatten out a bit. They will expand in circumference.
Bake for between six to eight minutes, until golden brown. (If they are not cooked until golden brown, they will be chewy instead of crispy…and crispy for these is definitely better!)
Remove, let cool, and store on your counter for three to five days. If you refrigerate, they will lose their crisp.
Optional: add in your favorite dried herbs before baking.
